Kim Hae Sook And Kim Hee Sun Unexpectedly Become Drinking Buddies For "Room No. 9"

Kim Hae Sook and Kim Hee Sun are not only roommates, but now drinking buddies for “Room No. 9.”

“Room No. 9” is about an ambitious lawyer and a death row convict, whose souls become switched, and the mysterious doctor who holds the key to their fates in his hands.

In the released photos, the two have a drink together at Kim Hee Sun’s house. Kim Hee Sun toys with an empty wine glass, as Kim Hae Sook drinks soju. Kim Hee Sun’s expression shows that she is brimming over with questions, and signals the beginning of her investigation into her drinking buddy. She gazes directly at Kim Hae Sook, observing her reaction to a tacit question that she tossed at her. Kim Hae Sook responds by pushing a filled wine glass toward Kim Hee Sun, with tears forming in her eyes.

After Kim Hee Sun and Kim Hae Sook officially begin to live with each other, Kim Hee Sun uses a candid drink with her new roommate to find out what Kim Hae Sook’s relationship with Gi San (played by Lee Kyung Young) is. Her investigation further adds to the tension of their tense, awkward living situation, and their unwillingness to fully trust one other just yet.

“Room No. 9” airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9 p.m. KST.
