We have come to the decision that we will no longer be able to overlook this sort of behavior. To protect our client’s basic human rights, after she endured pain for a long time, we plan to take strong legal action towards those who have spread rumors and made malicious posts or comments, and the indiscriminate posts that defame her character.
“Through monitoring various online communities and social media sites, we have procured evidence and are in the process of preparing accusations and lawsuits. There will be no settlements or favorable handling regarding those who wrote and spread the posts and comments. Everything will be handled through legal processes.
“Regarding cases that occur in the future, we will put in every effort to continuously collect material to prevent any further harm and protect our client.
“We hope that there will be more support and love for Son Yeon Jae, who is contributing towards the growth of South Korean rhythmic gymnastics and the dreams of rhythmic gymnastics hopefuls. Thank you.”
