IU Stays Strong With

IU’s “BBIBBI” repeats as our No. 1 song this week! This song won on “Inkigayo” and “Music Core” last week, and it also topped GAON and most internet charts once again. It is quite an accomplishment for this digital single considering IU did not promote this song on music shows. Congratulations again to IU!

BTS’s “IDOL” has moved back up one spot to No. 2. Also moving up one spot to No. 3 is Im Chang Jung’s “There Has Never Been A Day I Haven’t Loved You.”

We have two new songs in the top 10 this week and both are placed just below the top three. Moving up 11 spots to No. 4 is Zion.T’s “Hello Tutorial,”  which is the title song of Zion.T’s new EP “ZZZ.” Featuring the vocals of Red Velvet’s Seulgi, the sweet lyrics describe a man and a woman who are interested in each other.

Moving up 13 spots to No. 5 is the first top 10 hit for ballad singer Yang Da Il. His song “Sorry” is a ballad that expresses the complicated subtle emotions of breaking up.  Yang Da Il had a long running hit song titled “Lie” earlier this year. Despite only peaking at No. 25, this song was on our chart for 27 weeks.
