MOMOLAND’s Yeonwoo To Take Temporary Break From Activities Due To Illness
MOMOLAND’s Yeonwoo will be taking a break from her group activities.
On November 6, MOMOLAND’s agency MLD Entertainment announced, “Yeonwoo suddenly became sick with a high fever and was taken to the hospital. She is currently receiving treatment for it. As she is suffering from symptoms of a sore throat, her immune system has weakened, so she will be taking a break for the time being.”
The agency also stated that they had cancelled Yeonwoo’s upcoming MOMOLAND schedules starting today so she can fully focus on her health.
They continued, “Yeonwoo has recently been in poor condition and was hospitalized today. We will put all of our strength into her quick recovery, and we feel apologetic for worrying fans.”
MOMOLAND is currently scheduled to appear at the 2018 MBC Plus X Genie Music Awards, which will be broadcast live today via MBC Music, MBC Every1, MBC DramaNet, and V Live.
The girl group will also be leaving to Japan on November 7 to begin promotional activities for their new single album that includes the Japanese version of their hit track “BAAM.”
We hope Yeonwoo has a speedy and full recovery!
