Main Dancer Of Boy Group Impresses On “The King Of Mask Singer” Despite Setback
Even under unfortunate circumstances, the main dancer of a boy group managed to wow the audience of MBC’s “The King of Mask Singer”!
On the November 11 broadcast of the show, “Perfect Score on CSAT” and “Top Passing Mark” faced off in the first round. They put on a sweet duet of Deulgukhwa’s “Everyday with You” and demonstrated their vocal talents.
They also showed off some of their unique skills, with “Top Passing Mark” imitating singer KCM and the sound of opening and pouring a bottled drink.
“Perfect Score on CSAT” won the round with 54 votes to 45 votes, which meant “Top Passing Mark” had to unmask himself.
“Top Passing Mark” performed his own rendition of Eddy Kim’s “The Manuel” and revealed himself to be none other than iKON’s Donghyuk!
Unfortunately sick, Donghyuk expressed, “I wanted to show a cleaner [performance], but I got sick while preparing. I feel apologetic that I wasn’t able to better show my skills.”
On his appearance, he said, “I think this program is the first show in my whole life I’ve analytically watched over 10 times. Being in charge of dance, I was really curious what people would say about my singing, so I wanted to let everyone hear my voice. I think that’s why I was more nervous. I asked the members who appeared [on this show] before me for advice, and practiced really hard.”
“I thought that I wouldn’t have a chance to show off my voice all by myself. I’m really happy and honored to have appeared on ‘The King of Mask Singer,” Donghyuk concluded.
