TWICE Tops Oricon Weekly Album Chart With 'Yes Or Yes'

TWICE is once again dominating the music charts in Japan!

After the girl group dropped their sixth mini album “Yes or Yes” on November 5, the album topped Oricon’s most recent weekly album chart. This is the first time TWICE has reached No. 1 on the weekly album charts with an imported album.

On November 13, Japanese media outlet Oricon Style reported, “TWICE’s mini album ‘Yes or Yes’ recorded 33,000 albums sold in its first week, and [TWICE] also took their first No. 1 with an imported album on Oricon’s weekly album chart.” TWICE previously topped Oricon’s weekly album chart with their first Japanese studio album “BDZ.”

TWICE is currently promoting their newest title track “Yes or Yes,” which achieved a perfect all-kill on Korean music sites and also topped iTunes charts around the world.

On December 26, TWICE will be releasing their upcoming album “BDZ-Repackage” in Japan, and the group will also be holding their Japanese dome tour next year, which includes two dates at Tokyo Dome, one at Nagoya Dome, and one at Kyocera Dome.

Congratulations to TWICE on yet another impressive accomplishment in Japan!
