Watch: Park Yoo Ra Talks About Her Wedding And Sends A Sweet Message To Her Brother EXO's Chanyeol

YTN announcer and EXO’s Chanyeol’s sister Park Yoo Ra recently spoke about EXO’s comeback, her wedding, and other topics during a “TMI” (Too Much Information) interview about music with YTN reporter Park Seo Kyung.

During the interview, Park Seo Kyung mentioned how Park Yoo Ra had talked about EXO’s comeback with their fifth studio album “Don’t Mess Up My Tempo” during a live news broadcast. The reporter then asked Park Yoo Ra how she felt reporting about her own brother’s comeback. Park Yoo Ra responded, “Of course I was happy, but I also thought that I’d have to read [the report] very well, since if I make a mistake, it’ll linger for a while.”

Park Yoo Ra then shared a funny story of when she once asked Chanyeol, “Do you not watch my news [broadcasts]?” Chanyeol had apparently responded, “I can’t even watch all the programs I appear in, so how can I watch [your] news.”

She then cleared up people’s perception of their perfect sibling relationship by bluntly saying, “We’re just a realistic pair of siblings.”

The two then discussed Park Yoo Ra’s wedding, where Chanyeol and other EXO members were in attendance. She commented, “I asked Chanyeol to sing the congratulatory song, and he readily accepted. He sent me a Kakaotalk message asking if he could sing Coldplay’s ‘Everglow.’ I thought that because it’s a pop song, it could be a bit much, but he asked me to read the lyrics. I was touched. Although it can be seen as a song for an ex-lover, [Chanyeol expressed that] it could also be a song for me.”

She continued, “He said that he thought his heart would burst out because he was so nervous. But he sang it so well, so I’m thankful.”

Park Yoo Ra then concluded the interview by delivering a sweet message to Chanyeol. She said, “I’m glad that you were able to begin your promotions smoothly this time as well, and that I was able to deliver such great news. Your baseball pitch was also really cool. I’m using the refrigerator [Chanyeol’s wedding gift] well. I love you.”
