Yoo Jae Suk Makes Meaningful Donation Of Coal Briquettes For 6th Consecutive Year
Yoo Jae Suk continues to warm hearts with his meaningful charitable donations!
On November 20, the charity organization Coal Bank revealed, “Yoo Jae Suk has donated 50 million won (approximately $44,380) in coal briquettes. This is his second donation to us this year, as he also made a donation in February. Ever since our first meeting through ‘Infinite Challenge’ in 2013, he has been donating to us every year.”
Stating that Yoo Jae Suk had donated 71,500 coal briquettes on November 14, the same amount he donated in February, the Coal Bank explained, “This winter is expected to be colder than ever with heavy snowfall and freezing temperatures. We’ve also suffered a 30 percent decrease in donations because of a stagnating economy, rise in unemployment, and rise in coal briquette prices. We are extremely grateful to Yoo Jae Suk. Through his donation, we have provided 130 to 150 coal briquettes to 511 families, which will keep them warm for around 30 days.”
Yoo Jae Suk first came into contact with Coal Bank in 2013 when the cast of “Infinite Challenge” worked with the organization to deliver coal briquettes to low-income homes. Since then, he has been making donations twice a year. The Coal Bank revealed, “Over the past six years, Yoo Jae Suk has made nine donations totaling at 380 million won (approximately $337,400). We have been able to deliver 653,020 coal briquettes to 4,427 homes thanks to him.”
