BTS Nominated In Time Magazine's 2018 Person Of The Year Reader Poll

BTS has been included in TIME Magazine’s annual Person of the Year reader poll!

Since 1927, TIME has named a person or group of people as its Person of the Year for having the greatest influence on the year’s events, either for better or worse.

While TIME’s 2018 Person of the Year will be decided by the magazine’s editors, TIME has stated that its reader poll “provides valuable insight into public opinion, giving readers a chance to weigh in with their pick.” In 2017, TIME’s Person of the Year was the men and women who were “Silence Breakers” by speaking up about sexual harassment and assault throughout various industries. In 2016, then President-elect Donald Trump was selected as the Person of the Year.

BTS’s fellow nominees in this year’s reader poll include Christine Blasey Ford; “Crazy Rich Asians” director Jon Chu; “Black Panther” director Ryan Coogler; Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos; Meghan Markle; undocumented children; Colin Kaepernick; politicians including Donald Trump, Moon Jae In, Nancy Pelosi, and more; Robert Mueller; artists including Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, and Kanye West; the Thai cave divers; and many more.

You can vote for the person or group you think has been the most influential in 2018 here.
