SHINee’s Onew may be releasing a solo album soon!

According to an exclusive report made by media outlet Xportsnews, Onew will be releasing his first solo album in early December.

The report stated that Onew was in the final stages of producing the album in order to release it before his upcoming military enlistment on December 10.

According to the article, Onew prepared the album as a gift for fans who’ve given him their support until now. Since Onew will be carrying out his military duties for the duration of 1 year and eight months, it is a present to soothe fans who might be disappointed by this predicament.

Following Onew’s enlistment on December 10, he will serve as an active duty soldier after completing his military training. As Onew has expressed his desire to have a quiet enlistment, his agency SM Entertainment will not be revealing the location or time of his enlistment, and there will be no separate official sendoff event. Onew is scheduled to be discharged on July 20, 2020.

Onew made his debut with SHINee in 2008 and has actively promoted hit tracks such as “Ring Ding Dong,” “Sherlock,” “Lucifer,” “Love Like Oxygen,” and more. The singer has also appeared in various dramas and variety shows.
