Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon Talks About Members' Reactions To Her Latest Track + Injury From MV Filming

Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon shared her fellow members’ reactions to her latest solo single “Punk Right Now.”

On November 23, Hyoyeon appeared as a guest on SBS PowerFM’s “Choi Hwa Jung’s Power Time.”

After Hyoyeon talked about attempting to promote as a DJ, Choi Hwa Jung said, “It feels like you have a lot more energy.” Hyoyeon replied, “I think my vibes are changing compared to when I did group activities.”

Choi Hwa Jung then asked Hyoyeon about the reactions from her fellow Girls’ Generation members. Hyoyeon responded, “The members said that it was really similar to my image. They said this kind of hip hop song was a first for me and praised me, so I felt relieved.”

The singer also answered questions from listeners. One fan wrote in saying, “I heard that Hyoyeon hurt her leg while filming the MV.” She explained, “While filming the MV, the wind blew and the acrylic board fell on me. I felt a lot of pain and my body was scratched. Thankfully, the MV filming ended well. Thinking about it positively, I took it as a sign that things were going to turn out well.”
