BTS has achieved their third hit on Billboard’s Pop Songs chart!

On November 27, it was announced that Steve Aoki’s track “Waste It on Me,” which features BTS, has entered the Pop Songs chart at No. 39 for the week ending in December 1. The news was shared by Billboard with the title “BTS Earns Third Pop Songs Chart Hit With Steve Aoki Collab ‘Waste It on Me.'”

The Pop Songs chart ranks songs based on radio airplay data, and measures total weekly plays among a reporting panel of 167 mainstream top 40 stations in the United States, using data from Nielsen Music.

Previously, BTS entered the Pop Songs chart for the first time in January, coming in at No. 25 with “MIC Drop,” which features Desiigner and was remixed by Steve Aoki. This was followed by “Fake Love,” which peaked at No. 34 in July.

BTS is the only Korean group to have a song enter the Pop Songs chart. The only other Korean artist to make it on to the chart is PSY, whose song “Gangnam Style” reached No. 10 in 2012.

This is also the third track by Steve Aoki to enter the Pop Songs chart, following “Delirious (Boneless)” with Chris Lake and Tujamo and featuring Kid Ink, which hit No. 33 in 2014, and “Just Hold On” with Louis Tomlinson, which scored No. 35 in 2017.

“Waste It on Me” also previously entered Billboard’s Hot 100 chart at No. 89 for the week ending in November 10.

Congratulations to BTS and Steve Aoki!
