Cha Tae Hyun Shares Thoughts On Bae Doona And Her Acting

In a recent interview, Cha Tae Hyun talked about his “Matrimonial Chaos” co-star Bae Doona.

The actor said, “I heard Bae Doona was going to [star in the drama], so I thought it would be fine [for me to do it]. When I heard she was going to play that role [Kang Hwi Roo], I thought it would suit her well and that she would play it well. My chemistry with Doona wasn’t bad. I think [the opinions] of viewers is somewhat important, but for the most part, I think our chemistry was good. Unless it’s a unique case, my chemistry with other actors is usually good.”

Then he continued, “In Bae Doona’s case, rather than anticipating our chemistry, I was curious about how it would be. We debuted around the same time, but we never worked together before. So I wondered what our chemistry would be like. She does activities in both Korea and overseas, so I was curious about that as well.”

Cha Tae Hyun then commented about Bae Doona’s acting, saying, “She’s very good, and it’s great. Doona is very concerned about the results of her movies and dramas, but she pays a lot of attention to the staff. She’s like someone from the olden days. I think she pays a lot of attention to the team and environment.” He laughed as he remarked, “It can’t be helped.”

“Matrimonial Chaos” asks the question if marriage is the true completion of love and explores the fun differences in men and women’s thoughts on love, marriage, and family. It came to an end on November 27.
