Ha Jung Woo In Talks To Star In New Film
Ha Jung Woo is in talks for a new film directed by Kim Sung Hoon.
On December 2, the actor’s agency revealed, “He is positively considering director Kim Sung Hoon’s new film ‘Kidnapping’ (literal title).”
The statement continues, “It is a project taking place in 2020, so nothing has been decided. He also has other projects to film before then, so it is not confirmed yet.”
Ha Jung Woo and director Kim Sung Hoon worked on the 2016 film “Tunnel” together. The new film “Kidnapping” will be based on the kidnapping of a diplomat in Beirut, Lebanon in 1986. The scenario has yet to be completed, but it is scheduled to begin filming in late 2019 and be released in 2020.
Meanwhile, Ha Jung Woo is starring in the film “Take Point,” which will be released on December 26. He is also set to start shooting next year for “Mount Baekdu” and “Boston 1947.”
