Listen: San E Releases New Track Aimed At Critics Titled "Oong Ang Oong"

On December 3, in the midst of continuing controversy over his comments on feminism and his song “Feminist,” San E released a new track through Instagram and YouTube.

The song is titled “Oong Ang Oong,” which mimics the sound of whining or crying in Korean. In the lyrics, he continues to criticize “Womad” and “Megal” (short for Megalia), which are controversial, radical feminist online communities in South Korea. He writes that they are “society evils” and “mentally ill,” reasserts that he does not hate women, and references recent events like the Brand New Music concert.
