Block B's P.O Transforms Into Park Bo Gum's Younger Brother In "Encounter"

tvN’s “Encounter” has revealed a new glimpse of Block B’s P.O‘s first appearance on the show!

“Encounter,” which premiered to record-breaking viewership ratings last week, is a new Wednesday-Thursday drama starring Song Hye Kyo and Park Bo Gum as unlikely lovers. The drama tells the story of the whirlwind romance between Cha Soo Hyun, an unhappy woman who was born into privilege but has never been able to lead the life she truly desires (played by Song Hye Kyo), and Kim Jin Hyuk, an ordinary young man with a pure soul and a cheerful ability to find happiness in the little things (played by Park Bo Gum).

On December 4, “Encounter” unveiled new stills of P.O in his role as Kim Jin Myung, Kim Jin Hyuk’s sunny, free-spirited younger brother. After giving up on his academic pursuits early in life, Kim Jin Myung is determined to achieve his goal of becoming a business owner.

In order to chase his dream of eventually owning a restaurant chain, Kim Jin Myung decides that he needs to gain work experience—and as a result, despite the protests of restaurant owner Lee Dae Chan (played by Kim Joo Heon), Kim Jin Myung shows up at his restaurant every day to work for him.

The producers of “Encounter” teased that viewers could look forward to the chemistry between the constantly bickering Kim Jin Myung and Lee Dae Chan, commenting, “Pyo Ji Hoon [P.O’s given name]’s bright personality and the bubbly character of Jin Myung are working together in synergy. His refreshing energy will blow new life into the drama.”

They added, “We ask that you show a lot of anticipation for Pyo Ji Hoon, who will show off his bubbly charms through his first appearance on Episode 3 of ‘Encounter,’ which airs tomorrow [December 5].”
