Watch: Kim Dong Ryul Releases Captivating MV For "Fairy Tale" Featuring IU

Kim Dong Ryul has returned with his new song “Fairy tale” featuring IU!

The song was released on December 7 at 6 p.m. KST and “Fairy tale” takes the listener on a magical journey, following the beautiful instrumental performed by the London Symphony Orchestra. The lyrics awaken a sense of childish wonder that everyone seems to forget as they grow up and become adults.

On top of the instrumental are harmonies created by Kim Dong Ryul and IU. Kim Dong Ryul asked IU to feature on his new song as he believed that her voice best fit the song he was hoping to create, and IU is said to have happily agreed as Kim Dong Ryul is a singer she has always respected.

The music video accentuates the beautiful music as it is done through hand-drawn animation to create a wonderful story.
