EXID's Hani Tears Up While Remembering Kang Ho Dong's Kind Words Of Comfort

EXID’s Hani experienced an emotional moment on the December 8 episode of “Ask Us Anything.”

Hani mentioned she once filmed a show with Kang Ho Dong where they had to do therapeutic yoga. The instructor told her, “I want to try a pose with you. You looked really cheerful on TV, but I feel like you have pain inside of you. You seem like you’re having a hard time.” Hani tried the pose with the instructor but eventually burst into tears.

Lee Soo Geun was shocked that she would cry after striking a yoga pose, but Kang Ho Dong explained, “It’s because she knew how she felt. The instructor saw Hani’s body and looked into her heart.”

Then Hani continued, “The crew was probably taken aback, and Ho Dong, as the host, was probably even more surprised.” Kang Ho Dong added that the filming had been halted for a moment.

Hani shared, “I was calming myself down when he sat down next to me. I was very scared. My heart thumped. I thought I would get scolded.” Then she grew teary as she recalled the touching moment when he comforted her, saying, “Hani, you’re sad, aren’t you? It’s okay. You can cry. There are many times I tear up on shows as well. But I’m a champion wrestler, so I can’t cry.” His moving words made Kim Young Chul and EXID’s Hyelin tear up as well.

Hani confessed, “That comforted me a lot, and after that, I gained a lot of strength.” Kim Heechul tried to brighten up the atmosphere with a joke, but it overlapped with her thank you to Kang Ho Dong, and he also joked, “The audio overlapped! She was thanking me! It was an important situation! It’s not the same if she does it twice!”
