Yoo Jae Suk Talks About His High School Sweetheart + What He Was Like Back Then

On the latest episode of JTBC’s new variety show “Cool Kids,” Yoo Jae Suk talked about what he was like during his high school days!

While chatting with fellow cast member Han Hyun Min during the December 9 episode of the show, Yoo Jae Suk commented, “To be honest, if I could go back to high school, I’d want to give studying diligently a try.”

He went on to reveal, “When I was in school, I had a lot of interest in the opposite sex. Starting in my junior year, there was a girl I really liked. I have a lot of memories from that [relationship].”

Looking at one of Yoo Jae Suk’s high school yearbook photos, Ahn Jung Hwan joked, “You looked devious.”

An indignant Yoo Jae Suk exclaimed, “What do you mean, devious? My love was innocent!”

Yoo Jae Suk also took a nostalgic look back at his storied career. When asked how he thought he would feel when looking back at his current life at the age of 80, he remarked, “[I’d probably think,] ‘I worked really hard. I’m grateful for my life.'”

He went on to add, “My happiest moments are when I’m working.”

“Cool Kids” airs on Sundays at 10:20 p.m. KST.
