EXO’s D.O. Talks About What It Was Like To Portray A Soldier For “Swing Kids”
EXO’s D.O. talked about playing a soldier in his newest movie “Swing Kids.”
“Swing Kids” is about a motley dance crew called the Swing Kids during 1951 in the Geoje prisoner-of-war camp. Alongside D.O., the film stars Park Hye Soo, Oh Jung Se, and broadway dancer Gerald Grimes. D.O. plays the rebellious North Korean soldier Roh Ki Soo.
When asked whether he felt burdened to play a soldier at a time when he is nearing his time to serve in the military, D.O. replied, “I didn’t feel any burden about it. I think it’s only natural I go to the military. It’s just that I happened to play a soldier in this movie. I focused on the character, personality, and disposition.”
“Swing Kids” will be released on December 19.
