MBC Announces Daesang Nominees For 2018 Entertainment Awards

The 2018 MBC Entertainment Awards has revealed this year’s daesang (Grand Award) nominees!

The four nominees this year are Jun Hyun Moo, Kim Gura, Park Na Rae, and Lee Young Ja.

Jun Hyun Moo and Park Na Rae have once again impressed this year with “I Live Alone,” which has become one of MBC’s top variety shows. Jun Hyun Moo, who won last year, also hosted “Unexpected Q” and is currently the main MC for “The Manager.”

Kim Gura has showcased his hosting skills this year on “Radio Star,” “The King of Mask Singer,” “Cross the Line,” and “Talk Nomad.” He previously won daesang at the 2015 MBC Entertainment Awards.

The fourth nominee is Lee Young Ja, who has been receiving lots of love for her appearance on “The Manager.” The program has significantly increased in popularity due to the impressive part she has played.

If Park Na Rae or Lee Young Ja win, the MBC Entertainment Awards daesang will go to a woman for the first time in 17 years since Park Kyung Rim in 2001.

Hosted by Jun Hyun Moo, Seungri, and Hyeri, the 2018 MBC Entertainment Awards will be held on December 29 at 8:50 p.m. KST.
