Police Clarify Microdot And His Brother Sanchez Will Not Be Questioned Regarding Parents' Whereabouts For Fraud Case

With rapper Microdot and his brother Sanchez’s whereabouts currently unknown, the police station in Jecheon that is in charge of the fraud case involving Microdot and Sanchez’s parents has clarified that they will not be questioning the brothers regarding the whereabouts of their parents.

Regarding their plans for future investigation, the police simply stated, “We will be following procedure.”

Previously, on December 11, SBS’s “Night of Real Entertainment” visited Microdot’s apartment. Upon a visit to a real estate agent, they found that the home was recently sold and vacated.

Microdot and Sanchez have no legal obligation to disclose the whereabouts of their parents. According to Korean criminal law outlining special exemptions for relatives, the brothers would not be punishable by law even in the event that they were to harbor their parents or destroy evidence.

The Ministry of Justice is working with authorities in New Zealand to find Microdot’s parents. Both police and the Ministry of Justice have stated that they cannot disclose any specific details regarding the investigation.
