Watch: Mnet Reveals Teaser For Next Season In "Produce 101" Series

Following the end of the 2018 Mnet Asian Music Awards, Mnet unveiled a teaser for the next season in the “Produce 101” series.

“Produce 101” began in 2016 with its first season that formed the project girl group I.O.I. It continued in 2017 with “Produce 101 Season 2” that created the project boy group Wanna One. In 2018, the Korean and Japanese project girl group IZ*ONE was formed through the show “Produce 48” that was a collaboration with the Japanese idol group AKB48.

It was previously reported that the series will be continuing with a fourth season in 2019 that will make a new boy group, although Mnet did not confirm what the outcome or format of this new season will be.

On December 15, a teaser was released for “Produce_X101”! It confirms that the new season is coming in 2019.
