Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon posted a message to her fans after a minor accident happened during her solo concert in the Philippines on December 14.

During the concert, the singer hit her head against a stage equipment that was descending from above. Despite appearing to be in pain for a moment, Taeyeon continued to perform, which made fans relieved.

On December 15, the singer took to her Instagram stories to write a letter to her fans in the Philippines.

She shared her affection for the fans, saying, “To all my fans in the Philippines, today you guys were the coolest, and I’m so thankful [for you]. I realized it once more this time, but I can laugh thanks to my fans. And no matter what lousy situation I’m in, I can gain strength and courage only because of you.”

Taeyeon mentioned the accident, saying, “I’m sorry I couldn’t stay and say goodbye until the end. I don’t know. Because it happened in an instant, everyone probably thought it wasn’t a big deal, but right now more than ever, my body and heart are in pain.”

She continued, “There were a lot of problems surrounding this concert. A lot of things happened and there was a lot of emotional exhaustion. I felt especially sorry to the fans in Manila, and I’d like everyone to know about the concert process.”

Taeyeon shared her love for her fans once more, “I’ll say it again, but today you were all so passionate and the best, to the point where I got chills. I fell in love [with you all] once more. SONE is the best.”
