3 Steps Yoon Hyun Min Takes To Express His Love In “Mama Fairy And The Woodcutter”
The fantasy romance drama is about a fairy that awaits the reincarnation of her former husband. While working as a barista, Sun Ock Nam (played by Moon Chae Won) meets Jung Yi Hyun, who could potentially be her former husband. Only believing in logic and reason, Jung Yi Hyun pushes away Sun Ock Nam for being a supernatural being. However, at one point, she becomes all he can think about as Jung Yi Hyun falls deeply in love with her.
Viewers are hooked by Jung Yi Hyun’s imperfect but adorable way of expressing love. Here’s the steps he’s taken to become the perfect romantic!
Step 1. Pretend to not like her, but keep visiting her at the cafe!
At first, Jung Yi Hyun looked at Sun Ock Nam with doubt as she changes from looking like a grandmother to a young lady. However, he uses his skepticism as a reason to keep going back to the cafe to see her. Not to mention, he strangely feels jealous whenever he sees her with Kim Geum (played by Seo Ji Hoon). Jung Yi Hyun also shows off his tsundere (cold outward behavior while actually warm and caring) side when he coldly tells her to stop telling other people she’s a fairy because the other students are making fun of her.
Step 2. Keep thinking about her!
Ever since a certain point, Sun Ock Nam keeps appearing in Jung Yi Hyun’s dream. Even his daily thoughts are preoccupied by her! Now, he’s happy whenever he runs into her on campus but worried if she’s not at the cafe.
Step 3. Confess “I’ve started to like you” + Kiss!
Although he’s taken aback at first when Sun Ock Nam refers to him as her husband, Jung Yi Hyun confesses, “I don’t know if I’m your husband, but I’ve started to like you.” He makes the viewers’ hearts flutter when he romantically asks her not to leave his side and kisses her.
Jung Yi Hyun’s transformation from someone who couldn’t properly express his feelings properly into a romantic that’s head over heels in love with Sun Ock Nam is making viewers excited to see their romance develop.
