NakJoon (Bernard Park) Shares Photo As He Enlists In The Military
NakJoon, formerly known as Bernard Park, has enlisted for his mandatory military service.
On December 17, the singer enlisted and entered a basic military training center in Goseong county, Gangwon province.
That day, he posted a photo to Instagram of himself with a shaved head as he stands on the beach and salutes. He wrote in the caption in English, “Goodbyes are only for people who love with their eyes. Because for those who love with their heart and soul, there is no separation.” He added in Korean, “I’m so grateful to my fans who always supported me. I’ll come back healthy! I love you!”
NakJoon won SBS’s “K-Pop Star 3” in 2014 and went on to debut with JYP Entertainment. He most recently released his digital single “Still” in October featuring f(x)’s Luna and held a mini fan meeting on December 9. He promised fans during the event, “After I’m discharged, I’ll create a lot of opportunities to be together with fans.”
