Song Kang Ho Apologizes To EXO Fans On Behalf Of His Son

Actor Song Kang Ho has apologized to EXO fans for a post made by his son on Instagram.

On December 18, Song Kang Ho brought up his son at the beginning of a press interview for his new film “The Drug King.”

Before answering any questions, the actor began, “First, I have something I’d like to say. After hearing some false information, my son was thoughtless and carelessly wrote a post [on Instagram]. My son has since apologized sincerely.”

He then went on to personally apologize for the incident, saying, “I apologize to not only EXO fans, but also movie fans, as well as fans all across Asia.”

Song Kang Ho’s son Song Joon Pyung had previously posted a message on his Instagram story that said, “EXO fans, let’s not go overboard with terrorizing comments.”

It has been widely speculated that Song Joon Pyung’s message was a response to a rumor that EXO fans were posting negative comments about “The Drug King,” due to the fact that it shares the same premiere date as EXO’s D.O.‘s new film “Swing Kids.”

Soon afterwards, Song Joon Pyung posted a new message apologizing for his remark. He wrote, “Due to my thoughtlessness, I believe that I made an imprudent post. I would like to bow my head and apologize sincerely to all EXO fans.”
