Actor Sung Joon Quietly Enlists In The Military

Actor Sung Joon has started his mandatory military service!

On December 18, the actor quietly entered the training center of the 2nd Infantry Division located in Gangwon Province.

His agency O& Entertainment released an official statement, stating, “Sung Joon has joined the army today [December 18]. He will join a training center in Gangwon Province and serve in the military after five weeks of basic training.

The statement continues, “Please understand the fact that we suddenly delivered the news on the day of his entry into the military due to his desire to enlist quietly. Please support him so that he can fulfill his military duty and return as a more healthy and mature person. Thank you.”

Sung Joon most recently starred in drama “Perfect Wife” and film “The Villainess” in 2017.
