Gong Hyo Jin And Ryu Jun Yeol Share First Impressions Of Each Other

Gong Hyo Jin and Ryu Jun Yeol had fun discussing their first impressions of each other.

On December 21, a press conference for the upcoming film “Hit-and-Run Squad” took place at CGV in the neighborhood of Apgujeong with actors Gong Hyo Jin, Ryu Jun Yeol, Jo Jung Suk, and director Han Joon Hee in attendance.

“Hit-and-Run Squad” tells the story of a hit-and-run task force that chases after an uncontrollable businessman who loves to speed.

Gong Hyo Jin appears as Eun Shi Yeon, who was transferred from the internal investigation department full of intelligent workers to the hit-and-run task force after an unexpected incident. Ryu Jun Yeol portrays Seo Min Jae, the youngest member and ace of the task force.

Both actors showed up to the event wearing clothing with ruffles on them. Gong Hyo Jin began, “We’re both similar in that we’re both fashionistas. Ruffles will become the trend next year.” Ryu Jun Yeol added, “I was so surprised after seeing Gong Hyo Jin’s outfit.”

About her first impression of him, Gong Hyo Jin said with a laugh, “When I first met him, I was surprised that he was a man who was this tall and had such good proportions. He has a low voice too, so I thought it was something he did for his character. But I think he can control his voice.” Ryu Jun Yeol then made everyone laugh by replying, “Yes?” in a high tone.

Ryu Jun Yeol said, “This isn’t my first project with her. I actually met her on ‘The Producers.'” The actor played a minor role in the KBS drama in 2015 where he appeared alongside Gong Hyo Jin.

“‘The Producers’ was my first drama, and I was so happy to be working together with Gong Hyo Jin,” he continued. “I admired her since before my debut; I was her fan. I still remember everything about her hairstyle, outfit, and that kind of thing from then.”

After listening to him, Gong Hyo Jin said, “Ryu Jun Yeol has a lot of cuteness. I will reveal his true sides one by one in the future [through ‘Hit and Run’ promotional activities).”

“Hit-and-Run Squad” will premiere in January 2019. In the meantime, check out the first episode of “The Producers” below!
