Sandara Park And MOMOLAND's JooE Are Brought To Tears By Harsh Training On

In the December 21 episode of “Real Men 300,” Sandara Park and MOMOLAND’s JooE became upset during the training exercises.

The trainee soldiers attended a class that taught them how to defend themselves from knife attacks while practising with a fake knife. Sandara Park struggled with the exercise and was visibly upset.

She explained in a private interview that she had quit taekwondo as a child on the first day that they began to learn sparring. “I really don’t like fighting with someone, and I’m an advocate for peace,” she said.

When the soldiers stopped to listen to further instruction from their trainer, Sandara Park wiped tears and sweat from her face.

As they took a 10-minute break, Sandara Park cried in the hall. She said in her interview, “I really couldn’t go back in there. I thought ‘I’d better go home.'”

She confessed to a trainer in the hallway, “I don’t think I can do this.” The trainer comforted Sandara Park and told her it was just difficult because it was her first time, and JooE came over to hug her and tell her not to cry.

Sandara Park and JooE went to talk on their own, and Sandara Park explained to her, “I don’t like the shooting practice either, and I hate things that are cruel.” She expressed that although it was a fake knife, it seemed like they could really stab someone. In the end, Sandara Park was too upset to continue with training.

JooE said in her own interview that at the point when Sandara Park had left in tears, she personally had been feeling okay about the training.

However, the next task the trainee soldiers went through was learning how to escape from a position in which someone was on top of them and trying to force them down by the neck. The trainees were told to punch and hit the attacker anywhere they could, and then kick them over so that they could get up. JooE had great difficulty fighting back when she was being held down by her attacker.

She said, “They were telling me, ‘Hit back! What are you doing? Hit so you can get out!’ I knew that I had to do it and I really wanted to, but it was a movement that I haven’t done before, so I wasn’t able to.”

She cried during the training, but kept going until the end. Although JooE became upset again during a lesson where they had to learn how to take a gun from their attacker, she gathered herself and completed the task.

She was later praised during the evaluation, when the instructor told her that she was excellent at everything she’d been taught.
