Wanna One Makes Meaningful Donation As Part Of Campaign With UNICEF Korea

Wanna One has made a meaningful donation!

On December 22, UNICEF Korea stated, “Wanna One has donated 8,070 winter blankets for their ‘#Wanna One For Every Child’ campaign.”

The members of Wanna One visited the UNICEF Korea offices the day before for a ceremony, and they stated, “We hope that the woolen blankets we’ve prepared through the campaign will be a source of warmth and strength for the children who have to endure cold temperatures.”

The campaign was started through Wanna One’s official social media accounts on December 1 and lasted for two weeks. Their goal was to donate 8,070 winter blankets as they made their debut on August 7, 2017. Wanna One has been participating in a variety of projects that raise awareness with every album release, and they have made several donations as well. For their latest album “1¹¹=1 (POWER OF DESTINY),” they teamed up with UNICEF Korea for the special campaign.

Lee Gi Cheol, the secretary general of UNICEF Korea, stated, “We will do our best to deliver Wanna One’s warmth to the children of the world.”
