3 Things To Watch For At The 2018 SBS Entertainment Awards

The 2018 SBS Entertainment Awards is just hours away, and many are curious to see which performances will steal the spotlight and who will take home the Grand Award.

Here are three things to anticipate in this year’s award show:

1. Fierce competition

Last year, the mothers from the show “My Ugly Duckling” received the Grand Award (Daesang). Who will win it this year?

This year’s SBS entertainment shows have drawn higher ratings and attention than ever before. As many programs have shown strong performances, it is difficult to identify the candidates of this year’s Grand Award. With no candidate selected, the attention is on who will win this year’s trophy.

Many of this year’s SBS shows, such as “Running Man,” “Law of the Jungle,” and “Master in the House,” have been greatly loved by viewers. Although there are no chosen candidates, some entertainers who are assumed to be on the list are Yoo Jae Suk, Kim Byung Man, Shin Dong Yup, Lee Seung Gi, Kang Ho Dong, Baek Jong Won, and more.

2. The 3 MCs

The three celebrities to host this year’s “SBS Entertainment Awards” are Park Soo Hong from “My Ugly Duckling,” Han Go Eun from “Same Bed Different Dreams 2 – You Are My Destiny,” and  Kim Jong Kook from both “Running Man” and “My Ugly Duckling.” People are already anticipating their chemistry together.

3. A special stage for a special meeting

SBS variety shows such as “The Law of the Jungle,” “Master In The House,” “My Ugly Duckling,” “Baek Jong Won’s Alley Restaurant,” and “Same Bed Different Dreams 2 – You Are My Destiny” have continued to meet with viewers through laughter and emotions over the past year.

With this year’s theme being “meeting,” the set will be specially decorated and various performances have been prepared to show a “special meeting.” DJ DOC, who is making their first comeback on national television after member Jung Jae Yong’s marriage, will show a unique stage. Along with this, the special stage of the three MCs and a surprise performance that has not yet been released is set to raise anticipation for an entertaining night of festivities.
