Honey Lee Talks About Knowing Han Ye Ri Since Middle School + Getting Comfy With Cast Of New Film

Honey Lee appeared on MBC Radio’s “FM Film and Music, this is Han Ye Ri” to talk about her latest film “Extreme Job,” as well as her friendship with the radio show’s host.

Han Ye Ri and Honey Lee have known each other for almost 20 years. Honey Lee said, “We went to the same middle school and high school together and were just a year apart. When I heard that Han Ye Ri was making her debut as an actress, I said, ‘Is that that Han Ye Ri I know?’ I was so surprised.”

Han Ye Ri also added, “I was surprised when I heard that Honey Lee was crowned Miss Korea. I think we were both surprised to hear about each other because we had both switched careers from what we’d originally been pursuing.”

When asked how filming “Extreme Job” has been, Honey Lee said, “The five lead actors are so comfortable around each other that we even fart in front of each other,” and she laughed as she added, “Some of them will even fart right after they finish up a scene. It got to a point where you could tell who had farted just by smelling it.” She also revealed that co-star Ryu Seung Ryong had recently started learning about tea ceremonies and had performed one for his co-stars on set.

“Extreme Job” will hit theaters on January 23.
