Kang Daniel shared his first post on his new account with a greeting for his fans at 3 p.m. KST on January 2. By 2:35 a.m. KST on January 3, his account had already reached 1 million followers, meaning he reached the milestone in 11 hours and 35 minutes. This may make him one of the fastest Instagram accounts ever to hit this milestone, but there are no official sources yet to confirm this.

After Wanna One’s contracts with Swing Entertainment came to an end on December 31, the group is wrapping up activities together this month. Their final concert “Therefore” will be held from January 24 to 27 at the Gocheok Sky Dome. Unconfirmed reports have stated that Kang Daniel is planning to make a solo debut after his labelmate Yoon Ji Sung.
