Kwak Dong Yeon To Star In New Baseball Film

Kwak Dong Yeon will be appearing in the upcoming film “Baseball Girl” (working title)!

“Baseball Girl” is a new movie created as part of the Korean Academy of Film Arts (KAFA)’s advanced feature film course. The film will star actress Lee Joo Young as Joo Soo In, a high school student who breaks barriers in her attempt to become a professional baseball player for a team with only male athletes.

Actor Kwak Dong Yeon will be playing the role of Lee Jung Ho, a professional baseball player and childhood friend of Joo Soo In. As a talented athlete whose skills were recognized from an early age, Lee Jung Ho is both a friendly rival on the field and an encouraging friend who sincerely supports Joo Soo In’s quest to go pro.

Kwak Dong Yeon is currently appearing in the SBS drama “My Strange Hero,” where he has impressed viewers with his acting as the seemingly gentle villain Oh Se Ho, a character whose deceptively warm smile hides his deep-seated insecurity and ruthless ambition.

“Baseball Girl” is currently scheduled for a release sometime in 2019.
