WINNER, BLACKPINK, And iKON Confirmed To Perform At 33rd Golden Disc Awards
On January 4, News 1 reported that BLACKPINK, WINNER, and iKON will be attending the 33rd Golden Disc Awards on January 5 at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.
Last year, BLACKPINK received a lot of love from the public as they swept the music charts with their group activities as well as Jennie’s solo activities. The group will showcase a next-level performance at the award ceremony before entering the U.S. market.
WINNER also gained immense popularity last year through their group promotions and Song Mino’s solo track. Fans were excited to hear the news that Song Mino will be performing a special stage at the Golden Disc Awards. While he will not be present on the day of the award ceremony due to WINNER’s concert, he will pre-record “Fiancé” as well as a b-side from his album for the special stage.
iKON, who swept the nation with their mega-hit song “Love Scenario,” will also be making an appearance at the Golden Disc Awards. iKON is also expected to showcase a never-before-seen stage on a grand scale with their “New Kids” series.
Golden Disc Awards began in 1986, making this year’s the 33rd award ceremony. The award show will take place over two days with the January 5 ceremony being for digital releases and January 6 ceremony being for physical album releases. It will air live via JTBC, JTBC2, and JTBC4.
