Viewership ratings for both tvN’s “Memories of the Alhambra” and JTBC’s “SKY Castle” have soared to an all-time high!

According to Nielsen Korea, both dramas scored their highest viewership ratings yet on January 5. “SKY Castle” broke its own record for the highest ratings ever achieved by any JTBC drama (13.3 percent) with an impressive nationwide average of 15.8 percent, marking a substantial increase of 2.5 percent from the night before.

The January 5 episode of “Memories of the Alhambra” was also its most-watched broadcast yet. The drama scored an average nationwide rating of 9.4 percent for the night, breaking its previous record of 9.2 percent.

“SKY Castle” is a satirical drama that follows an elite group of privileged and ambitious women as they strive to further the careers of their husbands and ensure the success of their children.

Meanwhile, “Memories of the Alhambra” is a fantasy romance starring Hyun Bin as an investment firm CEO that travels to Granada on business and finds himself swept up in a series of mysterious incidents at an old hostel owned by a young woman (played by Park Shin Hye).
