HOTSHOT’s Agency Confirms Plans For Ha Sung Woon To Release Solo Album
Ha Sung Woon will be returning to greet fans as a solo artist this February!
On January 7, his agency Star Crew Entertainment stated, “After completing his Wanna One activities and returning to our agency, Ha Sung Woon will release a mini album in late February and be active as a solo artist.”
Ha Sung Woon is a member of HOTSHOT who also joined the project group Wanna One after appearing on Mnet’s “Produce 101 Season 2.” Wanna One’s contract officially ended on December 31 and the group’s activities will end in late January with their final concert. Earlier in the month, reports of Ha Sung Woon’s solo plans emerged but at the time, the agency stated that nothing had been decided yet.
A source from the agency stated, “We’ve been speaking extensively with Ha Sung Woon about his future career path, but we had not been able to make a concrete decision as his Wanna One activities had not ended. We met with him once more on January 4 and the decision was made for him to release a solo album in late February. We ask for your support and anticipation.”
According to the agency, Ha Sung Woon will have a personal hand in creating the upcoming solo mini album, working as a producer and selecting the songs himself. The album is set to showcase his talents and musical color as a vocalist.
