IU To Take Legal Action Against Investment Fraud Rumors

IU has announced her intention to respond strongly to online rumors about investment fraud.

On January 7, her agency, Kakao M, released a statement through IU’s official Facebook page and included photos from the interior of the building.

In the statement, the agency said, “As there are no plans to sell the building in question, the rumors and speculation about it are clearly false. Also, we would like to stress that the rumored value of the building is only speculation and is not information that has been confirmed.”

The statement continued, “We are collecting evidence quickly through the emails that fans sent us today about various online rumors and malicious comments. In order to protect our artist from defamation of character and false rumors, we will take a strong legal stance on this.”
