BLACKPINK's Lisa Becomes Most-Followed Female Celebrity In Korea On Instagram

BLACKPINK’s Lisa has earned an impressive achievement!

As of January 13, Lisa has approximately 13 million followers on her Instagram account. This makes her the female celebrity in Korea with the most followers. The previous owner of that title was Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon, who has 12.9 million followers as of January 13.

All the members of BLACKPINK have gained an impressive amount of followers since opening their personal accounts in June 2018. In approximately seven months since opening their accounts, Jennie has 11.77 million followers, Rosé has 10.07 million, and Jisoo has 9.95 million. All four members swiftly made their way into the top 5 rankings of female celebrities in Korea with the most followers.

BLACKPINK’s official Instagram account was also crowned Instagram Korea’s Top Girl Group in 2018, an award given to the official and verified idol group account with the most followers.
