Watch: IU And Park Hyo Shin Introduce A New Music Variety Show In Preview For "Your Song"

A new music variety show is headed our way!

JTBC recently revealed a preview of its upcoming show “Your Song.”

The clip began with interviews from various people in the industry speaking about a mysterious musician. IU says with a smile, “He is such an amazing person,” and singer Jung Mi Jo adds, “There is something different about him.”

After a brief glimpse of a man passionately playing the piano, pop music critic Im Jin Mo says, “New style, new sensation.”

Film director Bong Joon Ho states, “I think I can tell how detailed of a person he is just by listening to his music,” and Korean classical musician Ahn Sook Sun adds, “He will probably remain in our music history.”

The person in question is revealed to be composer and performing musician Jung Jae Il. “I don’t really believe in inspiration,” shares Jung Jae Il. “I think from when I open my eyes to when I close my eyes are all actions where I collect my inspiration.”

The words, “The first ‘Your Song’ he has revealed is…,” appears on the screen followed by singer Park Hyo Shin singing on stage. “Songs are always in our lives,” says Park Hyo Shin. “We sing when we’re sad and sing when we’re happy. It is something that is always with us.”

“Your Song” is a program that will shed new light on the creation and behind-the-scenes stories of timeless hits through composer Jung Jae Il’s perspective. The show will premiere on January 17 at 11 p.m. KST.
