GOT7 And Fans Celebrate 5th Anniversary With Moving Posts And Worldwide Trending Topic

GOT7 and their fans celebrated their fifth anniversary together!

The boy group debuted on January 16, 2014 with their first on-air performance of “Girls Girls Girls” on Mnet’s “M! Countdown.”

At midnight KST this year, GOT7’s official Twitter account shared a cute video of each member acting out five-letter phrases to create one whole message. The message was, “It’s already been five years since iGOT7 and I have been together. I love you so much for being with us even today and now. Let’s be together forever.”

The members also celebrated the occasion with posts on their individual social media accounts. GOT7’s leader JB posted a group shot of the members with the caption, “5” to signify their fifth anniversary.

Yugyeom shared photos of the group taken at various locations over the years. He added, “igot7 fifth anniversary.”

The youngest GOT7 member also took to Twitter to post a photo of three of them jumping together with the words, “igot7, got7, fifth anniversary. Whoo!”

BamBam uploaded a photo of GOT7 on stage from the audience’s point-of-view and thanked the fans in English.

He wrote, “Proud to be GOT7. Proud to have a fandom name’s iGOT7. We’re 7 and we will be 7 forever. Thank you for 5 years with us.”
