BTOB's Ilhoon Celebrates 100th Day As "Idol Radio" Host With Warm Messages From Friends

On the January 15 broadcast of MBC’s “Idol Radio,” BTOB’s Ilhoon was greeted with congratulatory messages from his colleagues on his 100th day as the show’s host.

Since October 8, 2018, Ilhoon has been actively hosting the show, meeting up with 60 different idol groups. The idol said, “I’ve been in the industry for a long time but never had a chance to build rapport with other idols. When I go to music shows now, I see a lot of familiar faces.”

He continued, “Through ‘Idol Radio,’ I gained an opportunity to meet very precious people and felt that I need to approach them more friendly. I will continue to have fun with more idols in the future.”

The BTOB member concluded, “I think ‘Idol Radio’ is becoming a show that will last in my mind as a good memory even after 20, 30, and 40 years. I plan to work together with more idols and make a unique atmosphere just for ‘Idol Radio.'”

During the broadcast, many idols including BTOB’s Eunkwang and MONSTA X’s Kihyun sent in their warm messages congratulating the host.

Eunkwang, who was the pilot episode’s DJ, said, “While in military, I hear that Ilhoon is doing really well, and it makes me so proud and happy. I will also do well and stay healthy in the military, so hwaiting for all of you as well. I love you, Ilhoon!”

Kihyun, who received the nickname “conservative brother” for sharing his life philosophy during his appearance on the show, said, “I’m thankful that I got a lot out of my ‘Idol Radio’ appearance. Congratulations to Jung Ilhoon.”

Besides the two idols, The Boyz’s Younghoon, SF9’s Hwiyoung, ASTRO’s Moonbin, Wanna One’s Lai Guan Lin, Yoo Seon Ho, and Stray Kids’ Hyunjin sent in messages to congratulate Ilhoon.
