Park Seo Joon To Make Special Appearance In Bong Joon Ho's Upcoming Film
Park Seo Joon will be making a special appearance in director Bong Joon Ho’s new film “Parasite” (literal title)!
On January 17, it was reported that the actor will be making a cameo appearance in the film, making it the first time he’s working with the renowned director. His agency Awesome ENT confirmed the news and stated, “Park Seo Joon will be making a brief special appearance in the film ‘Parasite.'”
“Parasite” is scheduled to be released this year and tells the story of Ki Woo (Choi Woo Shik), the eldest son of his family who is burdened with high expectations to be the breadwinner as his father Ki Taek (Song Kang Ho) doesn’t have a job. The film will follow the unexpected happenings that occur as Ki Woo goes for a job interview with CEO Park to be a tutor.
Park Seo Joon will play the role of CEO Park’s previous tutor, who will be handing over his job to Ki Woo. Though his appearance will be brief, he is expected to leave a lasting impression as he did when he made a cameo in So Ji Sub and Son Ye Jin‘s film “Be With You.”
Along with his special appearance in “Parasite,” Park Seo Joon will also be greeting moviegoers in the upcoming film “The Divine Fury,” which will follow a champion fighter who works with a priest to fight against evil powers that try to bring chaos in to the world. Park Seo Joon will be starring in the film alongside Ahn Sung Ki, Woo Do Hwan, and Choi Woo Shik. Both films are expected to be released this year.
