EXO’s Suho Receives Best New Actor Award From 2018 Asia Culture Awards
EXO’s Suho has been recognized with an award for his recent work as a musical actor!
The winners of the 2018 Asia Culture Awards were announced on January 17. Suho took the Best New Actor Award among male performers in musicals for his performance as Gwynplaine in “The Man Who Laughs.” He previously also acted as Crown Prince Rudolf in “The Last Kiss.”
Suho shared his gratitude for the award in a video. He said, “I’ve received the Best New Actor award from the 2018 Asia Culture Awards! Thank you. In the past year, I’ve been performing as a musical actor in ‘The Last Kiss’ and ‘The Man Who Laughs.’ I’m happy to receive love from a lot of people, and there are so many people I want to thank.” He mentioned the staff, managers, directors, and his fellow actors, and said they’d worked hard.
“This award belongs to our audience and EXO-L,” he said. “I sincerely thank you. I’ll continue to work hard in musicals in the future, so please look forward to it. Thank you!”
The 2018 Asia Culture Awards are held by the the outlet NewsCulture. Winners are determined through a score composed 50 percent from experts’ evaluation, 30 percent from reporters at NewsCulture, and 20 percent by online votes.
