SEVENTEEN Talks About The Possibility Of Official Unit Debuts

SEVENTEEN shared their thoughts on debuting as units.

On January 21, the group held a showcase for the release of their sixth mini album “You Made My Dawn” at the Olympic Hall in Seoul.

The mini album consists of six songs: “Good To Me,” title track “Home,” vocal team’s “Hug,” hip hop team’s “Chilli,” performance team’s “Shhh,” and “Getting Closer.”

SEVENTEEN is a unique group that has three units within the team, but the units themselves have not debuted on their own as of yet.

About this, Mingyu said, “We’re obviously working hard on team promotions right now. The possibility of unit promotions isn’t closed, but also not open. We’re always open to the possibility of it and may come out at any time, so please look forward to it.”

Woozi added, “We have a lot of fun working on unit tracks. We said, ‘It would be fun if we released an album like this,’ but we’re focusing more on SEVENTEEN since we shine brighter when we’re SEVENTEEN.”

The members seemed to be in agreement that the possibility of unit debuts was always open, and raised anticipation for fans.
