Apink Talks About The Idol Group They Want To Emulate

In a recent interview with Billboard Korea, Apink opened up about their goals for the future.

During the interview, which was released on January 21, Apink’s Jung Eun Ji shared that the group hoped to hold more concerts and find ways to connect with their fans outside Korea. “We want to make good music and meet our fans abroad,” she said, “and we also want to include more concert-like elements in our activities.”

Jung Eun Ji went to describe veteran group Shinhwa as one of Apink’s role models. She explained, “Our goal is to be like Shinhwa and promote for a long time, so that we will always be able to come together and stand on stage as a group.”

Chorong, who personally penned the lyrics to one of the songs on Apink’s new mini album “Percent,” mentioned that the group was also interested in writing more of their own lyrics. She remarked, “We will work hard so that there will come a day when we are able to fill an entire Apink album with songs for which we wrote all the lyrics ourselves.”

Apink recently made a comeback with the mini album “Percent,” featuring the title track “%% (Eung Eung).” Check out their music video here!
