Roh Tae Hyun Talks About How HOTSHOT And JBJ Showed Their Support For His Solo Debut
Roh Tae Hyun shared how HOTSHOT and JBJ members expressed their support for his solo activities.
On January 23, Roh Tae Hyun held a showcase to celebrate the release of his first solo mini album “biRTHday.” Roh Tae Hyun first made his debut as a member of HOTSHOT in 2014, and after appearing on Mnet’s “Produce 101 Season 2” in 2017, he also promoted as a member of the project group JBJ.
When asked how he felt about making his solo debut, Roh Tae Hyun said, “The only person I know who has pursued a solo career is Kim Dong Han. I’ll be learning a lot from him.” He also shared the JBJ members’s reaction to his solo activities as he said, “They all texted me to congratulate me and wished me well. Our group chatroom is always very noisy. Kim Dong Han, Kenta, Kwon Hyun Bin and Kim Sang Gyun wished me well. Their reactions made me more determined to work hard and not be a burden on them.”
Roh Tae Hyun also shared with a smile, “My fellow HOTSHOT members told me, ‘Do you best, and take all our energy too and show them what you’re made of,’ yesterday in the dorms. Our leader Junhyuk messaged me separately and said lots of great things to me, and that gave me a lot of strength. I was happy to hear heartwarming things from my fellow members, because we’ve spent seven to eight years together since our trainee days and grown up together.”
Roh Tae Hyun will be releasing his first solo mini album “biRTHday” on January 24 at 6 p.m. KST and will begin promoting his title track “I Wanna Know.”
