BLANC7 Announces Disbandment + Members Write Personal Messages To Fans
The boy group BLANC7 has now disbanded.
BLANC7 debuted as a seven-member group under Jackpot Entertainment in March 2017 with their debut title track “YEAH.” They most recently made a comeback in September 2018 with their third single “Take Off” and its title track “Drama.”
The sad news of their disbandment has been delivered to their fans PRISM by the group’s agency as well as by the members themselves through social media.
Teno shared a photo of the group on Instagram and wrote, “Hello, this is BLANC7’s Teno Hwang Euijeong. On January 24, 2019, BLANC7 disbanded. I’m truly grateful for the many people who have supported us up until now. And I’ve been so, so grateful to PRISM! Although I can’t reply to your posts of support and DMs, I’m grateful for each and every one of you. And lastly to our members, you’ve worked hard!”
D.L wrote on Instagram, “While promoting as BLANC7 I experienced both a lot of happy moments and a lot of difficult moments that were hard to endure, but I’m grateful that you always loved me more than I deserve. I’m grateful to our members too for being together with me during that time, and all of our time together was precious and happy. Thank you to everyone who supported us!”
Spax looked back on happy moments with the group as he posted photos and a video on Instagram and shared a message in both Korean and English. He wrote, “Hello, this is Spax from BLANC7. Today I will say the last greetings as a member of BLANC7. Uh! I don’t know where to start.. But, first of all, thank you so much. To be honest, I had a hard time but I wanted to express my sincere gratitude for those who still waited and loved me when I was exhausted, and told me to keep going!”
He continued, “I really feel that I’ve been loved very much by you guys. Also I’ll cherish every moment we had together. I don’t know if it will take time, but I will stand in front of you once again. So please, just wait a little bit more! Jeanpaul, ShinWoo, Teno, D.L, Kkid and Taichi, you all worked very hard and it was really really fun to be with you guys. I will never forget. I love you all!”
K-KID wrote, “This is BLANC7’s K-KID. BLANC7 disbanded on January 24, 2019. I’ve been really grateful for PRISM who have continued to support us a lot. I won’t forget our precious memories and will cherish them. I’ll show you a lot of new sides of me in the future, so I ask for your support. To everyone who loved BLANC7’s K-KID during that time, I’m sorry and thank you.”
