Highlight's Yong Junhyung To Release New Single Featuring Suran

Highlight’s Yong Junhyung will be releasing new music soon!

On January 28, Around Us Entertainment revealed, “Yong Junhyung will be releasing his digital single album ‘Empty’ (literal translation) on January 31 at 6 p.m. KST.”

“Empty” is a jazz/hip hop track with a shuffle rhythm base written by Yong Junhyung and composed by “Good Life,” a production team that the Highlight member is affiliated with. It contains the sad breakup of a man who put everything into love, but can no longer do anything anymore.

Yong Junhyung, who has produced songs without being trapped in a certain genre or material, plans to broaden his horizons once again through this song. His unique expression of emotional honesty will strike the hearts of listeners.

“Empty” will also feature Suran, a female singer-songwriter with a charming vocal tone and unique skills. Suran’s jazzy vocals and Yong Junhyung’s rhythmical rapping will blend together with the song’s blues guitar sound.

Yong Junhyung previously released his solo song “Sudden Shower” featuring 10cm’s Kwon Jung Yeol in 2018, which ranked No. 39 on Gaon’s digital chart for 2018.
